Return to Paris is the Springtime: The New US Low Carbon Agenda

Guy Block and Raphael Heffron will speak at the Americas Regional Meeting on Energy, Infrastructure and Climate Change organised by INTERLAW, the elite global network of leading independent law firms with 7,500+ first class lawyers worldwide.

Clients interested in participating in this virtual meeting are invited to register free of charge using the registration form available below.

One of the first actions undertaken by President Joe Biden was to return the US to the Paris Agreement, committing it to reducing carbon emissions and helping to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

With ‘Big Oil’ companies reporting huge losses during Q1 due to falling demand in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, how can countries and industries dependent on fossil fuels move towards the low-carbon transition and how will these shifting energy dynamics influence wider policy across both the Americas and globally.

Round tables are planned so that everyone can have the opportunity to share their ideas and actively participate.
