Mes Cédric Alter and Lydie Van Muylem co-authored a paper titled « Le juste prix du squeeze-out » in which they analyze the conditions attached to squeeze-out bids, particularly the provisions pursuing the protection of the minority shareholders to ensure they receive in exchange of their shares a price safeguarding their interests, which is commonly referred to as “fair price”.

France Wilmet joins from British firm Simmons & Simmons LLP where she headed the finance department for more than 14 years. France is both Belgian and French qualified, with over 25 years experience working at firms in Brussels and Paris.

She is an expert in financial regulatory work and in addition to a financial markets practice she also has extensive experience in commercial matters. She has advised on major financial and commercial matters for both local and multinational organisations. France also teaches at the University of Brussels and is deputy judge at the Court of Appeal of Mons (Belgium).
